Features

  1. Total Control and Flexibility  Power beyond port provides the flexibility to expand the system to power other equipment or add a filter kit or both.  Features like built-in load check, voluminous flow characteristics and feather touch meter control help you control the load exactly the way you desire.  Crysteel's locking lever pedestal control and sealed cable provide the finishing touch and worry-free operation.

  2. Exclusive Valve/Reservoir  Crysteel's exclusive reservoir mounted valve provides the flexibility and features you want.  This system comes standard.  Single or double acting elecric pump packages are also available.

  3. Efficient Hydraulics Crysteel's high-pressure hydraulics deliver maximum efficiency.  Their smaller pumps and cylinders weigh less but do more.  That's why the aircraft industry uses high-pressure hydraulics exclusively.     

  4. Premium Quality Cylinders  Crysteel cylinders are designed to last.  That's because they're made from high-strength steel tubing and feature chromed shafts, close-tolerance pistons and high-pressure seals.  Most include an internal cylinder bypass, which protects the system.  Pressure is never more than is needed to lift the load, but full pressure is always available instantly. 

 

Design Features

  • Lo-Boy keeps the load low  Lo-Boy hoists are designed ot nest between the longbeams and truck frame without adding to body height.  In most cases, no notching of underbody crossmembers is necessary.  With a Lo-Boy, you keep full strength in your platform where you need it most.

  • Crysteel's "flat top" design  All Lo-Boy hoist models are designed with the top side of the frame flat and level with the body longbeams.  The third point of the triangular hoist configuration is tucked away into the unused space within the truck frame--that's why we call it the Lo-Boy.

  • Far forward lift point   Low-boy hoists mount much farther forward than other hoists.  This position permits easier load elevation, provides greater stability and actually increases the load-lifting capacity.  A further advantage is that more hoist weight is carried on the front axle.

  • Maximum dumping angle Smooth, safe operation with dump angles of 45°.  Maximum dump angles up to 60° on the larger models.

  • Pre-assembled full-width hinge The hinge pivots above the truck frame, increasing ground clearance and dump angle. The pre-assembled rear hinge is standard on all Lo-Boy hoists.

  • Single cylinder stability Wide mounting a forward positioning provides greater stability during dumping.  Full width pivot pins on truck and long-beam prevent side-sway and provide extra strength.  The patented, formed channel-type hoist frame adds strength and stability to the entire mount.  Complete hydraulic power for finger-tip control (up and down).

  • Double cylinder stability The ST4000's smooth, twin-cylinder hydraulics mean added stability under heavy loads.  Double, boxed side plates increase the strength and rigidity of mounting.
